The big-budget advertising campaign kicked off with a daredevil stunt involving a tightrope walker between two 60m cranes, while a helicopter hovering nearby displayed the banner message "If He Dies, FRANK Pays."

The launch stunt can be viewed here.

According to FRANK.net CEO Lenard Louw, "a Life investment is about maintaining the quality of you or your family’s life, should you die, get seriously ill, be injured, or lose your job."

He further commented that the brand strives to communicate with the consumers honestly, and without any of the traditional emotional blackmail employed by many other life insurance companies, by "telling it like it is."

According to Louw it is hoped that the FRANK.net straight talking approach will generated word of mouth buzz and challenge norms relating to complexity in life insurance products.

Employing a no-frills, no-nonsense approach, the brand aims to bring a breath of fresh air to an industry traditionally dominated by conservative players and euphemisms. More information about this life insurance/life investment brand can be found on www.FRANK.net.
